By making a reservation for accommodation at Peppercorn Cottage, guests warrant they have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them subject to changes as notified to them.
Minimum Reservation
We are strictly a 2 night minimum. Accommodation is charged at $180 per night for the use of the entire cottage.
Infants under 12 months of age are welcome to stay free of charge in their own porta-cot (BYO).
Check In and Check Out Times
Check in Time is from 3:00pm
Check out Time is before 11.00
Earlier check ins and later check out are sometimes possible. Please contact us to enquire.
Deposits and Full Payment
Full payment is due at the time of making your reservation. We accept bank transfer only.
Postponement, Cancellation and Refunds
We understand that unexpected things happen and sometimes bookings need to be postponed. Your payment is fully refundable if cancellation occurs more than 2 weeks prior to arrival date.
If cancellation occurs less than 2 weeks before your arrival date, your reservation will be suspended pending new booking dates and your payment will be credited to the new reservation. If you are unable to reschedule, Peppercorn Cottage will refund 50% of your payment.
If you are a ‘no-show’, your booking and payment are forfeited.
Natural Disaster Policy
If you cancel your booking made directly with us prior to arrival because of a natural disaster (fire, flood) or public health directive, your payment is fully refundable.
If you leave Peppercorn Cottage after arriving because of a natural disaster (fire, flood) or public health directive, the unused portion of your accommodation will be refunded if booked directly with us. Bookings made via 3rd party websites (AirBnB, Stayz) are subject to the cancellation policy of the website with whom you booked.
Fur Kids
We welcome your fur kids by prior arrangement. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and are not to be left unattended in the cottage.
Departure
Please ensure that when you depart you return furniture and items to their original place, dishes are thoroughly cleaned, dry and replaced, and that the cottage is generally in the state you found it in. We do not expect you to do any cleaning or bed-making but we do appreciate you ensuring things are generally tidy, garbage is in the council bins and dishes are not left to drain.
Smoking (and other odours)
Peppercorn Cottage is smoke free indoors. However, guests can smoke on the covered verandas outside where ashtrays are provided.
